What is Slow Pleasure Technology?
Slow Pleasure Technology is a groundbreaking innovation designed to enhance the overall experience of pleasure by delivering indirect stimulation over an extended period of time. On the basis of research, the patented technology has been meticulously developed to create a more natural build-up towards a deeper and more fulfilling orgasm.
The data collection
The research behind MYK is based on different types of gathered data.
Qualitative data was gathered from more than 50 women. The qualitative data found that many women do not use massagers due to reasons such as painful experience around clitoris or problems or illness in hands or lack of interest in phallic shapes.
Quantitative data was gathered from more than 1000 women. The quantitative data found that majority of women prefer longer lasting pleasure than short 1-2 minute build up before climax.
On top of this, the Hite Report (1976) has contributed to the understanding of pleasure in women.
The Hite Report is a study from 1976 of 3000 women that found that different women have different types of orgasm patterns. An orgasm pattern is the type of rhythm that the pelvic floor contracts during orgasm. The Hite Report also found that one woman can only have one pattern.
The female anatomy vs. standard vibrators
Looking at the female anatomy, clitoris consist of a visible outer part in the top of the vagina, and has legs inside that are situated behind labia majora and labia minora. Since the visible outer part of clitoris is very sensitive, direct vibrations can be quite uncomfortable and sometimes even painful.
Standard massagers are designed to focus directly on exactly the visible outer part of clitoris, but the massagers do not provide the ideal experience for the natural anatomy of women. When direct stimulation occurs, the vibration intensity may not fit the orgasm pattern when the massager is situated directly on the visible outer part of clitoris and the user will for example have to remove the massager before climax occurs in order to avoid pain. When this happens, the experience is disrupted and the climax is shorter and less intense.
“I call them fast-food orgasms, because they are all about speed and power.
And I think it is problematic that the notion is that female self-pleasure and self-love should be rushed"

The challenge
Therefore the challenge was to find a way to stimulate clitoris differently in order to fit more orgasm patterns and result in less pain and more pleasure. It was found that there is a difference between direct and indirect stimulation.
Direct stimulation will not fit all patterns because the vibrations will result in too hard stimulation of clitoris and the vibrator would need to be removed from the clitoris to avoid pain which would lead to the orgasm being cut off.
Indirect stimulation would instead lead to a slower build up of the orgasm and that the vibrator can stay on clitoris while the orgasm occurs.
The solution
Therefore the solution was clear - there is a need for a vibrator that:
-
Gives indirect vibrations to create a slower orgasm that matches more orgasm patterns
-
Is handsfree to avoid pain and tired hands
-
Is simple and has a non-phallic shape
The result
On the basis of this MYK was invented as a luxury vibrator with a simple and unique design. MYK is placed between labia majora and labia minora.
The way MYK gives indirect stimulation is the oval shape where the motors are placed in-front of the inside legs of clitoris.
An orgasm is thereby being built up slowly due to the indirect touch of the motors.
The shape enables MYK to be held between labia majora and labia minora. MYK can be used sitting up or laying down - it will not fall out. A remote control enables an easier usage of MYK that has 5 intensity levels.
