I always wanted to change something. After years in tech, I was turned down again and again, mostly because I was a woman. Leaving that world, I stumbled into the vibrator industry, and found it, too, run by men. It shocked me.

Working from home in my apartment in Copenhagen, I took play dough, shaped ideas, and found the product after countless prototypes in silicone with electrical cords sticking out. I spent years filing patents and went bankrupt doing it. The journey took more than five years of persistence and sleepless nights.

All along, I worked full-time, funding every small step from my own pocket. Now, on maternity leave, I am ready to finally launch MYK - a handsfree massager designed to enhance pleasure and make it last longer.
